New Album

17016009_10154803268250546_424709679148164136_o On Thursday, March 2, my quintet launched it’s first album at Uptown Jazz Cafe. It’s a live recording we did at Lebowskis last year, featuring all original compositions of mine. The quintet is James Macaulay on trombone, Joe O’Connor on piano, Hiroki Hoshino on bass, James McLean on drums and myself on sax. The album also features beautiful artwork by Tenyo-Daniel Kim, and if you buy a physical copy , it comes with 1 of 3 different drawings hidden in the CD case. These drawings are all really quirky and imaginative, and I think they compliment the music really well.

You can get a copy over at shaunrammers.bandcamp.com. Here you can also preview the tracks and see what the artwork is like.

You can also find out more about my quintet here. Lots more exciting stuff to happen throughout the year, so keep your ears to the ground! Looking forward to seeing you out there.
